Amidst the rolling green hills, misty clouds, drizzling rain and the surcharged energy surrounding the Triyanbakeshwar temple during the auspicious days of the Kumbh, Bhagwat katha Ganga flowed from the 1st – 10th of Spetember 2003 with bhav and gyan. Hosted by Pujya Karshni Gurusharnanandji Maharaj of Ramanreti at his shivirit was a unique experience.

Sadhus, saints and all visiting for darshan and snan at Triyambakeshwar listened to Pujya Bhaishri narrate the Bhagwat katha with great devotion. Vaishvik Sanskruti Parivar members from all over the country congregated too to be a part of this divine satsang. All utsavs were celebrated with great joy and devotees danced in ecstasy to Pujya Bhaishri’s bhajans and kirtans.

Pujya Bhaishri, elucidating the Bhagwat mahatmya said the Bhagwat is the means and the end too. The Bhagwat is not only a samhita but a shastra, puran and granth too. Its every letter is a mantra and it is a puran of 18,000 shloks. Pujya Bhaishri expounded stories and incidents from the birth of King Parikshit, to Shri Kishna bhagwan’s leela’s in detail illuminating the hidden philosophies behind each one of them.

Pujya Bhaishri performed Shiv puja at the Triyambakeshwar temple at 5 in the morning on the 4th. He also visited the Kailash math at Nasik and offered his obeisance to Maa Godavri at Ram ghat, Nasik by performing puja along with the head of the Kailash math and Pujya Karshni Gurusharnanandji Maharaj. Pujya Bhaishri also did the Kumbh snan at Triyambakeshwar on the 7th of September which was the last shahi snan of the Kumbh Mela. Lakhs congregated to dip in the small kund at Triyambakeshwar.

In this divine atmosphere of austerity Pujya Bhaishri’s katha was relayed live on Sanskaar channel and millions of Indians benefited by drinking this divine nectar through their ears.
