On the occasion of Mahashivratri, twenty world renowned artists from all over India offered their musical tributes to Lord Shri Kashi Vishwanathji.
On 22nd February 2009, Shrimati Soma Ghosh presented her offerings of melodious songs in various classical ragas. Thereafter, Shri Lachu Maharaj, popularly known as the gem of Varanasi, presented enthralling rhythms played on his magical tabla.
On 23rd February, Shri Ashawari Patankar from Pune presented a mesmerising performance of a Kathak dance. Shri Neeladri Kumar entertained the audience with divine melodies on his Sitar.
On 24th February, the celebrated ghazal singer from Mumbai, Shri Chandan Das, sang heart touching ghazals which transported the listeners into a totally different and tranquilised world. Shri Dharmanath Mishra entertained the audience with enchanting music played on his harmonium.Also, Shri Santosh Mishra played divine music on his sarangi. Ustad Jabbar Hussain, Shri Shubhshankar and Shri Arvind Anand hypnotised the listeners by playing the tabla.

 

Pujya Bhaishri graced these programmes with his presence on all the days. He also went for darshan at Shri Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple. On Mahashivratri day, Pujya Bhaishri offered his puja with a rudrabhishek on Shri Kashi Vishwanathji.
