Pujya Bhaishri embarks everyone on a spiritually enriching journey in the Ahmedabad Ram katha

The family of Shri Prahladbhai Shankarlal Thakkar hosted a divine Ram katha by Pujya Bhaishri in the city of Ahmedabad from 11th to 19th April 2013.
On the morning of 11th April, the Shobha Yatra began from Santram Kutir, the residence of the host family and reached the katha venue Ayodhya Dham. Thousands of devotees joined this Shobha Yatra singing Hari naam sankirtan.
Pujya Ganeshdasji Maharaj, Pujya Nirgundasji Maharaj and other saints of Santram temple lighted the auspicious lamp to mark the beginning of the katha. At the beginning of the katha, Pujya Bhaishri explained the significance of Shri Ram katha and said that the events that will be narrated during the nine day katha will take us into a spiritually enriching journey. Pujya Bhaishri narrated these events in a simple and captivating style.
Pujya Bhaishri said that Prabhu Shri Ram is a maryada avatar, meaning, a personification and ideal person who is adept in the propriety of conduct in all aspects of life. Shri Ram is a boundless sea of love and an ocean of blissful joy. Merely listening to his story fills our heart with love and our mind is washed off its anger giving rise to a surge of tenderness.
Pujya Bhaishri further elicited that Ram katha is a katha of sacrifice and renunciation, love and affection, kindness and forgiving as well as emotions and tears. Therefore, listening to Ram katha ensures that our heart always remains filled with love and kindness.
The events of Shri Ram janmotsav and Shri Sitaram vivah were celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm during the katha.

While Pujya Bhaishri narrated the katha in the afternoon sessions, Rishikumar Shri Shyambhai Thakar performed musical recitations of Shri Ramcharit Manas in the mornings. Thus the entire katha proved to be a truly divine and enchanting experience for the devotees present.
