Republic Day Celebrations at Sandipani Manidweep

The 70th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the teachers, Rishikumars and volunteers of Sandipani Manidweep Sanskrit Mahavidyalay on 26th January 2019.

To start with, the Indian National Flag was hoisted along with singing of the National Anthem. The Rishikumars sang a patriotic song named, “merā mulka merā deś merā ye vatan”.

Thereafter, one of the Rishikumars presented a talk in Sanskrit on the importance of Sanskrit in the country. Under the guidance of the teachers, the Rishikurnars presented a patriotic play as well as presented a yoga pyramid in eleven steps to portray a message on good health.

The teachers gave inspiring speeches, thanked the guests and finished the celebrations on a high with lunch for all.

The entire celebrations were organised and carried out by the Rishikumars of Sandipani Manidweep under the guidance of the teachers.
