Sandipani Rishikumars spread the message of Mahatma Gandhiji

On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of the father of the nation, Shri Mahatma Gandhiji, eleven Rishikumars of Sandipani Vidyaniketan from the Babadeshwar Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya in Porbandar (the birth place of Mahatma Gandhiji), travelled to several towns and villages and spread the messages of Gandhiji.

With the inspiration of the teachers and Pujya Bhaishri, the Rishikumars dressed as Mahatma Gandhiji and spread the messages of cleanliness as well as eleven principles with their principal, Shri Falgunbhai Modha within various places in Porbandar including Sudama Chowk, Soni Bazaar, Chowpati, Kumbharwada and Manek Chowk.

In addition, the Rishikumars impressed all when they spread Gandhiji’s message to children with lack of sight and hearing and to the tourists visiting Kirti Mandir. Watch one of our Rishikumars talking to children.

Pujya Bhaishri expressed his heartfelt delight and pride for the great work done by the Rishikumars of Sandipani.
