12th February 2019 marked the 13th anniversary of Shri Hari Mandir during which the consecration of deities was carried out.
Pujya Bhaishri and Pujya Anubhavanand Saraswatiji performed abhishek on Shri Laxminarayan and other deities in Shri Hari Mandir. Thereafter, the hosts of the Patotsav 2019 celebrations performed pooja of the utsav murti with Vedic rituals.
This was followed by Pujya Bhaishri’s speech who gave important updates for 2019, provided below.
l am extremely pleased that Patotsav celebrations have been completed joyfully and spiritually. We bow to God that He is bestows us with something new every year. This, year, we were fortunate to hear Vedanta in a humorous way from Maharaj Shri. Vedanta is a serious topic but Swamiji is famous for his humorous way of narrating Vedanta.
Sandipani is a growing process. There is always something new happening here. A new guest house is being built currently which will be inaugurated during Navratri 2019. Shri Goyaniji is working hard on this project. It is progressing quick with donations from Shri Tapariaji and other hosts. The Chief host Navratri 2019 is also Tapariaji who provides the biggest service for our guests and Shri Hari.
This Navratri, our satsang will be based on Shrimad Bhagavat and Mahatma Gandhi as this year marks the 150th anniversary of Gandhiji.
Many of you may have visited Sandipani Vidya Sankul in Saputara where recently a school building, dining hall and assembly hall were built. Even here, the main contributions were by Tapariaji. The ex-Gujarat Minister, Shri Anandiben Patel and current Gujarat Minister, Shri Vijaybhai Rupaniji were present in these inaugurations. Our trustee Tusharbhai Jani also contributed greatly to this.
Currently, a hostel is being built at great speed at Saputara with main contributions from Tapariaji and Tusharbhai Jani. This will be ready by June for the new term of the school. With this inauguration, we will enjoy a eight-day Bhagavat Katha in the hill station from 10th to 17th June 2019. I cordially invite you all to attend.
Our youth at Sandipani is doing great work. A new Sandipani website has been built and is live. Our Rishikumars are also doing a great job with the ornamentation of deities in Shri Hari Mandir and giving these darshan to all on social media.
Holi Utsav will now arrive which will be a three-day event from 18th to 20th March. Several litterateurs will attend and present on a particular topic of their choice. Holi celebrations will be carried out on the evening of 20th March and Dhuleti celebrations the next day.
This year, a seven-day educational youth Shivir is also been organised in English at Sandipani from 7th to 13th July 2019. Register on the Sandipani website should you wish to attend.
In the end, Pujya Bhaishri blessed Shri Pravinbhai Pandya and Rishikumars on their hardwork during this Patotsav. Remembering Pujya Guru Sharananandji, he said,” Pujya Maharaj Shri is present every year during Patotsav and has not been able to come this year due to his commitments at Kumbh. Pujya Maharajshri has sent his blessings this year. This gap was filled by Pujya Anubhavanandji hence I heartily thank him”.
After Shri Hari Mandir aarati, Pujya Bhaishni gave prasad and blessings to the chief host of Patotsav celebrations, Shri Vijaybhai and Gauriben Goyal and the other hosts.
